The Crittall Installation Secondary Glazing is a fully independent internal window, fitted on the room side of an existing primary window which helps to reduce noise and improve thermal insulation. With a wide variety of colours and designs; including horizontal sliders, vertical sliders, balanced vertical sliders, including tilting, hinged units, lift out units and fixed with a choice of glass.
With excellent draught proofing benefits, quick insulation and maintaining the original character of the building, increased comfort and security can be quickly achieved. Secondary glazing is also suitable for flats and commercial properties.
Unlike double glazing, there’s no reason to replace your existing windows when you choose secondary glazing, allowing you to receive all the benefits with none of the hassle. The Frames are made from tough aluminium which are securely fixed to resist forcing.

Horizontal sliding windows are versatile and provide easy access to the outer window. Sashes slide within the frame, so few problems are encountered with blinds or curtains.

Vertical sliding units are ideal for traditional sash windows. Spring balances support the weight of the sash in all positions.
